Following a social media post in support of LGBTQ+ game developers, Godot is now getting review-bombed on Steam. After 7 years of glowing reviews, this game engine has received nearly 1,000 negative reviews in the past week. #godotengine#GameDev#GameDevelopment

Then a big wave of negative reviews start on October 1st of 2024. There are about 9,000 reviews total, mostly favorable, with about 1,000 negative reviews in the last week.
A tweet from @GodotEngine that says "Apparently game engines are woke now? Well then, we won't complain. Show us your #Wokot games below". It has 19,000 likes and 3,300 comments.
A review from WhiteyMcCrackerhonkey on Steam that gives a negative review of Godot Engine on Steam. Saying "Everything Woke turns to XXXX. Just like these guys." He uses heart emojis instead of Xs, but I don't think emoji displays in alt text descriptions. This player has 0.1 hours on record according to Steam.
