I have a hard time getting too upset at our 2nd/3rd choice LW depending on how Ange sees Odobert (I think Odobert is clearly a better fit). He was fine, he's going to eat a lot of minutes this season across 4 comps. He's going to continue to get in great positions and not be a clinical finisher.
Watching the game back and some other analysis videos. Ange is making a ton of tactical adjustments to how we build up, defend, and attack. Deki in midfield is an absolute game changer, but it's not just the players, it how they are being deployed, the opponent, the game state. Ange might be him.

Or, signing Werner to a long term contract for the content. I will take either (Werner was fine today, his chances only amounted to 0.61 xG and fans are spoiled by Son burying 9/10 of those).
His underlying numbers last season were top 5 in the league for goal contributions for wingers. Turning that into actual contributions now. I thought he'd be a great bench player because he always shined when coming on against tired legs, but he's really stepped up lately. Long may it continue.
