Sedge Sprite is a small damselfly measuring an inch in length. Uses the vegetated shore of wetlands usually nestled in dense stands aquatic plants. Commonly found in States east and north of Nebraska.

Small, 1 inch long, damselfly
This damselfly is found in dense grass-like vegetation of shallow watered wetlands.
Colors of this damselfly are a metallic green on the thorax and abdomen. Eyes are also metallic looking, tinted sky blue
Wings are held parallel to abdomen at perch with the abdomen endpoint a baby blue in color.

Nice to meet you & thanks for the follow. 🌿 This is a small compressed picture, but you get the idea. This fantastic creature was at a desert palm oasis with lots of water outside of Palm Springs. Looks like a twig!
