is scrivener still good for writing or is there something better now

I tried scrivener and hated it, so my WIP is currently divvied up over 3 Google docs (my files were really big and slow to work with). It’s… fine? My only complaint is the file sizes, but if you can work with that then it’s a solid solution.

I still use it for every half-baked novel I start and never finish. Good enough for that, at least
