when i hit puberty, i gained a lot of weight. obviously lots of other stuff changed, but i didn’t have the language or knowledge to recognize dysphoria, so my brain latched onto the change it could understand, and i ended up developing disordered eating. anyway i knew i Did Not Like what happened—

my goal isn't to abolish gender?

this is ridiculous i knew i had to change my body before i had words for any of it. i didn't have this knowledge because gender exists, i had this knowledge and applied it to gender as i developed as a child. without gender, i'd still be like "i expect my body to develop like this instead of that"

like what is this strain of thought? does abolishing gender involve abolishing endocrinology? are we all living isolated on deserted islands? how are we expected to not notice that different people have different bodies and different primary and secondary sex characteristics???
