This was the game that made me discover VanillaWare. I need to play more of their games but Odin Sphere is such a standout. Great characters, interlocking stories, and a finale that went all out. I think it’s the gold standard of their games but I have to try 13 Sentinels and Unicorn Overlord.

I just beat Unicorn Overlord last week. I would call it an unrivaled madterpiece... if I hadn't already played 13 Sentinels. As such, it is VERY MUCH rivaled, in the best possible way. Highly, highly recommend both of them

13 Sentinels is probably the closest I've seen any game reach perfection.

One of my longtime regrets was only renting Ghost Trick back in the day. It's an amazing game, arguably better than any Ace Attorney with an ending that will absolutely surprise you. So thank goodness for the re-release, which I made sure to get physically this time around. Missile is Best Boy.
