all bolters. This also ties the Imperial Bolter into a religious icon for the Ministorum and explains why they would prioritize it so highly as a weapon for the Sororitas. Just my own theory of course. 6/6

This works especially well for how the language of Gothic is actually rather vague at times allowing the Imperium to control the meaning rather easily. Consider Promethium which accounts for any flammable liquid regardless of composition or use. So Big E invented the Imperial Bolter but not 5/

all its bolter tech on, while others have different tech based on STCs. This can work with them all being boltguns because Boltgun is just a gun that fires bolts, that is the rocket propelled ammo regardless of if it is explosive or not, so anything that fires bolts is a bolt weapon. 4/

of it's *kind* how do we account for that? Easily actually: through it's kind. The Emperor invented a new kind of Boltgun without using an STC. Now this may be through previous knowledge of the weapon, or just of its ammunition but he makes a unique variety that the Imperium bases 3/

Now we know bolt weapons are weapons that existed before the Imperium in some capacity. After all they were on Caliban pre-Imperium, and there is evidence of humans having them in various places during the Crusade when the Imperium shows up. But if the Emperor invented one of the first 2/
