The project is collectively funded by the Belgian @frsFNRS-@FWOVlaanderen Excellence of Science (EOS) research programme.

The project focuses on citizens’ perceptions of differentness and similarity (PoDS), polarization amongst citizens, and dissatisfaction with politicians. Data collections (both quantitative and qualitative) are scheduled in Belgium, for example around the upcoming 2024 elections.
