it's easy to forget that those 14 year old kids that can absolutely KILL IT with art can (mostly) only do so bc of the groundwork laid by older artists tools were shaped as our needs became more clear we gave the styles that were admired and inspirational we offered up help and tutorials

art is a shared experience, and i think it's extremely cool that people so young can put their ideas down on paper better than i ever could at their age that fucks, man lmao
