I don't know who needs to hear this, but your creative interpretation of a character adds diversity and value to your fandom. your take on a character is as valid as anyone else's. don't let somebody’s opinion control how you express and enjoy fandom.

I know it's not explicitly about this, but this is why I wasn't opposed to Velma in concept. A lot of people saw that a bunch of characters were changed and drew judgments based on that. My issues with Velma are in its content, not its concept. In concept, the show's fine.

Additionally, you’re not obligated to accept anyone’s takes and headcanons, but don’t get ugly about it. Agree to disagree. You can pitch a fit or you can share space and be mature.
