liking a villain =/= supporting their actions understanding a villain's motivations =/= excusing their actions

People REALLY don't like it when you do that second one for real life bad people. They just want to categorise them as a cartoon, a pure-evil villain. You can still think someone is utterly evil and villainous while also wanting to understand how they ACTUALLY think!

also !! having a villian character doesnt mean the creator is evil people have literally looked at me crazy for having characters with malicious behaviors and its so weird its not like IM doing these things? its a story my goodness
