So in short, 100% recommend Books of Jacob. Don’t be afraid of the epic! #booksky

I’ll start on here with my greatest personal achievement of 2023: finishing all 900+ pages of The Books of Jacob by Olga Tokarczuk. I wasn’t sure I’d make it past page 300 but it was incredible. Learned a ton about the history of Jacob Frank, his followers, and Jews in 18th century Eastern Europe.
