A thing I have been doing to indulge my interest in US presidential elections without having to look at this one: writing about a largely forgotten president each week. (They're paywalled, for now, but I'll stick them all out as a free omnibus at some point.) Introduction:
On the right’s lack of self-reflection. Also this week: I can’t bear to look at the US election, so instead let’s all remember 1824; and London, upside down.
I will never forget where I come from: the middle class. And as president, I will always put the middle class and working families first.

I just don't understand how people treat every evil that Trump does as if it's the first time he did it. There IS a value in repeating messages... but after 8 years of it....? 🤔🤷♂️
