I’m very glad I don’t _have_ to countenance this scenario but if the Democrats had allowed the DC pundit brigade to run their campaign and nominated a Manchin/Romney ticket, it would still be a moral imperative to vote for them, even if I had to scrub myself down with bleach afterward.

I’d like to propose the Dick Cheney test: if someone as opposed to everything Harris stands as DC is willing to vote for her to beat Trump, I & others need to be prepared to compromise in the same way. I don’t have to, but anyone who can’t do that cares less about the country than Dick Cheney does.
