A part of me believes that Marcellus Williams was executed by a racist state govt not despite evidence of his innocence, but bc of it: to show the power of evidence is little compared to the evidence of power.

The right has reached the point in their authoritarian slide where obvious lying and outrageous exercises of power are seen as necessary and good.
