Agreed. It's super skill testing both ways, and beating it can be fun (and losing can be cool). The problem isn't the deck, it's the attitude of the person building and playing it. If they made it to make others miserable, then it's more likely to be miserable, but that's true in general.

As a huge Bolas fan, I kind of enjoy Test of Metal (though I only read it once years ago). The fact that it's all just a rogue copy of him that thought it was him both sells how powerful he is while humanizing him. Also yeah, it's batshit.

Everything she does is so weird (and horny) and it's excellent. I can't exactly recommend "Sanda", but it's batshit. (And you already mentioned Beast Complex, which is wild AND queer.)
