Blockenheimer now owns its identity! This account is using the did:web DID method (blockenheimer.click/.well-known/...) and is hosted on my own PDS, meaning we're not reliant in any way on Bluesky's infrastructure anymore.
In order to take advantage of Bluesky's decentralized identity features, we are migrating to a new account: @new.blockenheimer.click@new.blockenheimer.click account instead.
Developers: This tool is open source! As it is simply static HTML and Javascript, it can be self-hosted using e.g. GitHub Pages. https://codeberg.org/xormetric/bblock/ #atdev
Hello again — we're working in the background on making available a greater variety of advanced moderation tools. However, we know Blockenheimer can lead to accidents. As a temporary solution, we're releasing the Unblocker: a way to reset all your blocks. https://blockenheimer.click/unblocker.html
If you're concerned about accidentally blocking too many people: you can use Blockenheimer's "mute all" button instead! Blockenheimer creates a mute list to contain its mutes. Thus, you can instantly disable all of Blockenheimer's mutes, and posts hidden by Blockenheimer mutes are labeled as such.
Announcing blockenheimer.click — A tool for quickly muting or blocking a large amount of Bluesky users. Blockenheimer allows you to remove from your sight anyone who has positively interacted with a post. Use it with caution!
