I finished @levgrossman.bsky.social 's The Bright Sword last night and it was superb. It's a huge novel, big enough to use as a battering ram in a castle siege, but it reads quickly and is smart, full of heart, and thoroughly engaging.

I just sat through #AlienRomulus. Eeesh. Avoid this steaming pile of trash. It combines the worst of Resurrection and Prometheus. Makes me worry for how bad the upcoming TV series might be.
