Lesson 1: don’t trust Youngkin’s admin on voting rights. Lesson 2: follow @burness.bsky.social@bolts.bsky.social. Takeaway of both: continue to suspect situation not resolved, as article above suggests # of people wrongly purged would be still higher than 3,000 Youngkin has now admitted to.

Musk: THEY are trying to eradicate white confederate generals just because they "waged a treasonous war to own black people as slaves". Media: He's in a dark place.

His future outlook 10 years ago were self-driving cars that we'd all own and make money renting to each other. I'm not sure he's quite the scryer his PR team tell us he is. But he sure is a fascist and they thrive in the worst of times so they need to pimp this sort of thing.

There is a vast difference between loan forgiveness programs that are on the books vs those that are truly accessible. Put another way, under a Trump administration, these numbers would be a lot lower. https://donmoynihan.substack.com/p/bidens-new-student-loan-plan-is-a

Some of these were existing programs or initiatives that started before Biden, but it is fair to say that no prior administration has worked as aggressively to push student loan reductions. The central theme of these initiatives has been to reduce burdens in existing programs to make them more accessible and functional. The new initiative follows this pattern. IDR was already a tool in the toolbox, but not one used to the degree it could be. If the Biden administration succeeds, the new IDR will be transformative both in terms of its generosity and reach.

Why is this happening? Republicans flipped the state supreme court in 2020, and they're now disregarding the prior court's anti-gerrymandering rulings.

There's two separate issues here. They should not wear foreign uniforms because of their allegiance in office to the United States. They should not wear US uniforms while in office because of both separation of powers and the civ/mil divide.

And other House Republicans are getting into the dress up act, like Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL), who spent a month volunteering as a medical supply shipper for the IDF and is now wearing their uniform like he was a soldier? 6/ thehill.com/homenews/hou...
