What astonishes me the most about conservative hatred of Bluey is that Bandit makes men look *good!* He's a father figure with a good job who is there for his family, and he isn't a blathering idiot like every other TV dad these days--including, for some reason, Ben Shapiro's weird knockoff.

Bandit has a PhD, so that makes him just another liberal academic to them.

I love the show! I actually wore my Muffin shirt to work today.

Good Dad's are SO FUCKING RARE in kids media, and as the parent of 3 boys this makes me especially mad. I want them to see characters who act like their Dad, who will model good adult behaviour for them when they grow up. I cannot fathom how anyone thinks Bandit isn't a great character.
