Alvin Lee - The Bluest Blues #BluesMusic#GoodJams#Musicwww.youtube.com/watch?v=rB6O...
Alvin Lee- gtr, voc; George Harrison- slide gtr; Steve Gould- bass; Tim Hinkley- hammond organ; Alan Young- drums; Steve Grant- keys From the album āKeep On Rockinā (originally āNINETEENNINETYFOURā, 1993) Alvin saysā¦ one of my favourite tracks from my album ā1994ā. It has George Harrison on slide guitar and is one of the best solos he ever played. Itās a masterpiece, so sensitive. Hearing George made me play more sensitive too! Iām very proud of this one. It was recently voted one of the best blues songs ever recorded. Iām sure B.BāKing wouldnāt agree with that! Itās got a classical style piano played by Steve Grant, and George Harrison plays a slide guitar solo that is one of my all time favourites. He created such a tender, melodic solo and I had been playing kind of angry solos, yāknow? After hearing George I had to change my whole approach and started to play much more melodically. As a result, I played a great solo too. George may not have been the most clever and nimble of guitarists, but he didnāt just wiggle his fingers and play a succession of notes, he actually I wrote a tune while doing a solo. He was so eloquent on guitar that he inspired me to play something eloquent too.

Filed for divorce the end of November. The cops escorted him and his stuff out of our house Dec 22. I've had the best 3 weeks of mental peace I've had in nearly 2 decades! I've spent the day typing out that awesome discovery document. Glad I can type! Starting over at 59 is scary but I'm excited
