How is this not classified as some kind of Ponzi scheme? The only way holders are earning any money is due to new entrants. As soon as that stops it will collapse.

Only if you want to watch one of the five channels live (it is, essentially, an involuntary subscription). Those who are only watching streaming services (including the 5 channels on catch-up) don't need it.

I remember one time when El Nino was wreaking havoc on crop yields, a guy called Al Nino got death threats (by phone, it was pre-social media). People are capable of great genius and great stupidity!
