I was probably watching part two of Quiet as a Nun on Mystery! instead of this. I didn’t watch it till last year despite it being infrequently on teevee in the years since and was left unimpressed but it was a very ‘80s teevee movie, trying to make something with substance and ending up cartoonish.
In the Seventies, the networks had no problem with giving us teevee horror films that sometimes felt like they were the vector of generational trauma.
