I don’t think it would make very many people happy, but I do think it would make those people VERY happy.
When I was teaching electronics I wrote “volatge” rather than “voltage” more times than I can count.

As a science teacher from Melbourne once pointed out to me, clocks move the way they do because they were invented in the northern hemisphere and imitate the direction of the sun at those latitudes.
Also: 1. Orion is” upside down” in the southern hemisphere. 2. The sun moves counterclockwise through the northern sky in the southern hemisphere. The sun moves clockwise through the southern sky in the northern hemisphere. (Same circle, viewed from opposite sides.)
