Surprisingly common in Australia somehow. In Melbourne one of the inner city children's farms gets called all the time being like "we found you lost your peacocks that escaped!" and they keep having to be like "No, those are wild ones. They just live around here too".

No one seemed to take notice of it so I assumed it was fairly normal
