Great point. Surely other cities could offer off-peak public transport for free to school groups too. Looks like Birmingham do discounted day passes but googling didn’t show anything in Manchester or Leeds.

The variation across the country is weird but what London offer genuinely is great so there is no reason why it shouldn't be everywhere?
