Great experience to have visited #waves24 with the entire lab. Looking forward to the next edition, lots of ideas of how to keep oneself busy in the meantime.

Incredibly proud and happy to work on all things body-brain coupling with superstars @martinasaltafossi.bsky.social and Teresa Berther. So much fun, so many cool projects coming up. Could not have asked for more amazing people to start a lab around.

We are currently writing up our lab handbook, which will eventually be made public. As a new PI, I can't stress enough how helpful it is to reflect on who you are as a lab, how you integrate new people, and what you aim for in day-to-day lab life. Thanks to @elife.bsky.social for the inspiration!
By explaining how a lab works, outlining what is expected of everyone, and describing the culture the lab is aiming for, a good lab handbook will benefit all the members of a research group.
