Bsky is planning on being similar to Mastodon in the way that it will kinda decentralize, so it actually can't ... do that with our data, thankfully :) (or at least, this is how it was explained to me!)

I had a feeling that might be the case after I had looked into their official accounts, but it's good to have that reassurance!
