I get why the org wants to delay for the ownership and PBO swap, but why even announce that you aren’t going to try and improve next season? Change should happen immediately, imho.

It's all speculation until tomorrow. I don't if they aren't going to attempt to field a competitive team. I think it was well-known that they'd opt to walk away from most of the potential FAs if season finished like it did post deadline. I could go either way on change. For others?
