Reluctant to post anything from BC, but from what I’m hearing this report about IDW may not be true. All that being said no American publisher will debunk a report like this — every publisher is paying too low. Every publisher.

IDW’s new payment plan for creators is exposure? If this is true that per-page budget is insanity. Also- young creators out there. Publishers who pay an insulting page rate with the assurance you’ll make great royalties are lying.

In 2016 or 2017 a big publisher offered me a gig drawing their WWE launch for $60 a page.
