I thought I knew what it was like to be dropped by friends bc of my chronic illnesses. Since I got Covid a 2nd time this summer, I’ve had a huge decrease in my capabilities (and an increase in disability), & I’m learning I did not actually know how much this could hurt me, socially.

I got disinvited from a music festival by the friend who bought the tickets for our group (I paid for mine) on the basis of me being too disabled to go for 12+ hours. Since I couldn’t commit to being there that long, they basically just withheld my ticket from me. I haven’t heard from them since.
