Piracy does help game preservation, that's an undeniable fact, you shouldn't trust companies to do it all. But it does not excuse being a dick.
At least the emulators aren't left in entirely bad shape, and they will still exist anyway, but yeah, this is a reminder of the risk when a lot of people brag too much about playing a game early. Normally when you do this, you shut up, just enjoy while you can.
No joke, I totally think if the TOTK leak didn't happen it probably wouldn't have come to this. I am very much pro emulation including current gen, but this is the result of actual insanity that ended up like this. And it's annoying that Nintendo did this, but on this one... this is y'all fault lol
Here's my shitty opinion about the Ryujinx situation: Since Yuzu we literally all seen it coming, the Yuzu lawsuit showed that Nintendo was quite angry of the TOTK leak 2 weeks in advance of the game. You guys flew too close to the sun and you're paying for it now.
All it needs is Forest I - II - II and Metal Fort I - II, split the Ace League courses into two leagues, include Classic versions (and possibly music?) and you'll have something real cool for F-Zero fans (+ Sand Storm I - II are actually pretty fun with 99 players)
