I wanted a pleasant sounding trochee for my fursona. Emmet is an archaic English word meaning "ant" which seemed to fit him: a busy worker, often overlooked, often underground. I was not aware that Emmett (two T's) is Doc Brown's first name from BTTF, which is an extremely bizarre coincidence.
