Not sure how much of the game youāve seen, too, but the box comes with a few surprises that are not present in the introductory game. :)
Sky Team is a game of tension. It IS a checklist (like many cooperative games), but one youāre on the whim of dice rolls and limited resources to fulfill, with little to no communication with your partner. I once heard that āa good game is a series of interesting decisionsā, and it fits the bill.
Splendor Duel is a GREAT game, but it requires a little bit of fuel, I find.
Codenames Duet as well.
Sea Salt & Paper and Sky Team.
September in #boardgames@bgstatsapp.bsky.social. Always sad when I donāt play enough games to fill a 3x3 grid in a month. But at least I played a great deal of my two favorite games (Root, Arcs), and got to know a couple of new games (Sonora, Fox).
(By the way, I donāt mean games that include apps. I mean community made digital tools for use in the context of board gaming.)
Some are. Iām not. Every time Iām playing a game, my phone is logging that playtime on @bgstatsapp.bsky.socialtinyurl.com/bg-toolkit I like to think we just recognize the value of analog activities.
A collection of cool, useful, or interesting tools made by board gamers, for board gamers. *Know about something I should add here? Message me on Discord: @fbracht*
Hahaha nice! Had no idea! Jacques was so endearing to me. He showed up at random and I initially didnāt like him too much, but I came to love the dude hahaha Heās so lame, always trying something to be cool and trendy. Also, āskibidi rizzā is a stoneās throw from āzut alorsā. š
