I'm all for speed cameras, but I find the traffic light cameras are maybe even more important. Do people use "speed cameras" loosely to mean all traffic cams, or are there distinct arguments for one over the other?

This feels like one of the many areas where Dems get fooled by the press into thinking all they can do on this issue is cower and perform damage control (like abortion, gay marraige, etc). But in fact they can do the right thing while making this a winning issue.
Completely agree. There is no border bill that will put a dent in the xenophodia and racism at the core of Trumpism. But I also don't blame Harris for the way she's running. There is very little pressure in the other direction.
I'm as guilty as anyone of clicking through HIPAA training while barely paying any attention. That being said, you don't really need training to know this is bad, wrong, and illegal.
These behaviors all go together. The folks aggressively changing lanes without signaling are 100% also the ones getting caught by speeding cameras and red light cams.
