Cynicism is cancer to a movement. Especially those claiming to be revolutionary. You have to have joy to have something to strive for and fight for. Joy and hope are good things. Let people hold onto those things. Revolutionary struggle needs its joy and abandon.

My new conspiracy theory is that Gen X cynicism was engineered by the CIA (or probably a more competent organization).
