HOWEVER I will also say that I appreciate the "20 year old ports to this new handheld" for giving a bunch of great old games a new chance to succeed. Playing Crystal Chronicles, Baten Kaitos, and Baldur's Gate on my Switch has been great.

I was willing to accept that Switch games would look worse if it meant getting Nintendo quality games. But when Nintendo is putting out stuff like SV and everyone else pushes 90% ports of stuff I played 20 years ago, it's hard to stay excited. Especially when my PS5 is right there next to it.
