The UK’s membership of the European Union gave us so many benefits that we’ve now lost through Brexit. It’s so important to keep talking about Brexit to keep the pressure on Keir Starmer and the Labour government to prioritise a route back to EU membership. youtu.be/kFIFDKyo3nk?...

I think you’re wrong. If I may? You should not talk about Brexit at all, a divisive word that creates antagonism. You could talk about being in a customs union, the benefits of free movement of goods and people, the advantages of scale in negotiations and the insurance value in shared enterprise.

I think the prospect of uncontrolled migration from the EU into the UK will always be Eurosceptics' trump card A customs union for goods and services, not people, may work EEA migrants fundamental and human rights were never enforceable (see Linda Tolley case at the CJ EU)

Rejoining the EU would require the approval of member states Where is that decision? Another Brexit referendum and debate would further harm relations between the UK and EU (Farage and co would make sure of that) as well as harming Labour Where are all the Rejoin Party MPs?

It's obvious that Brexit and rejoining the EU are issues that can be used to harm Labour and Starmer thus it's assumed some particularly strident "rejoiners" are more interested in harming the government than rejoining the EU Why would EU member states want the UK to rejoin the EU?

Some hope... Starmer means business as usual... "Business sec Jonathan Reynolds says joining Asia-Pacific CPTPP bloc is a ‘real win’ for exporters, even though it will preclude the UK from EU membership"
