Farage thinks we incited Putin to invade Ukraine but denies any role in creating the atmosphere that led to the nationalist riots. I can’t think of anyone besides Trump who is more consistent in his malevolence and relentless distortion of reality. No wonder they get on well.
Interpreting NATO as a threat is a strange rightwing point of view, particularly given its history. I guess it comes from an inability to believe in human cooperation and collaboration, which is bundled in with rightwing ideology.
Well Farage doesn’t get on so well with Trump as he professes. He rushed out to the US straight after Trump was shot at, with much publicity, and Trump absolutely blanked him … Farage in my opinion likes the way Putin and Trump operate, and emulates it as a pound land version
Trump simply doesn't believe in truth. To him it's whatever he says. It's something personal. Somewhere in his mind, there is a part that has not developed past its infantile stage. He's like an infant with a loaded machine gun, who thinks it's great fun to shoot people. Farage is smug, mouldy, off.
Both are complete apologists for Putin, when people ask how authoritarians achieve power we can point to them and all their surrogates.
I envisage this meme being used quite often on here... 😀

I cant believe so man Americans fall for Trump. It's staggers me that so that so may UK folk fall for Farage. I always thought the UK was way more sensible and switched on. I was wrong. We are just as mad as the states.
Rupert Murdoch and Paul Dacre spring to mind, but I take your point.
