Reminder: Expressing concern about threats to democracy doesn't mean I think there's a 100% chance of the worst possible outcomes. Trump would of course face many obstacles and/or not follow through on various threats. However, the probability of such outcomes is unacceptable. That is enough.

The thing is, he won’t care about the hurdles. He’ll go around them. Laws mean nothing to him.

Biden swore to protect our nation from all enemies foreign and domestic so he will remain in office for how ever long he needs to. Musk is soliciting a militia by paying for their info and loyalty.

Also, the amount of damage he can do trying but failing to achieve the worst outcomes is a lot. A “failed” mass deportation campaign could still result in millions of ruined lives and thousands of dead people!

And we know this because there were as many as 500,000 excess American deaths due to executive incompetence last time he tried to be president. And people really think he should try again?
