I cracked the code. Told my boomer dad that having motion smoothing on his TV 'makes it work twice as hard' and will 'wear it out faster' and now hes obsessed with making sure its off.
Nice! First thing I asked hubby to do when we got our new tv was figure out how to turn that shit off.
Omg I'll have to use this one. Chaotic good misinformation. I love it.
Is this shit just automatically put on new TVs and is it why everything looks off to me? I have the Samsung Frame.
After many years of watching telly round at a friend's house I have finally clocked this is what is so wrong with their TV, & the same thing on their new TV. I have, so far, persuaded them I should remove it. What a relief. But very hard to explain why it's so bad if someone can't see it.
So does that feature make any sense in a specific setting? Like watching a specific format on a bigger screen? I mean why do companies put the feature in there?
Hopefully this turns into a Facebook meme shared by boomers.
Man, that's brilliant.
It seems like every boomer I know buys an even bigger tv every year, so I don’t think it’s that much of a threat
you dropped this 👑
