The executive director of NaNoWriMo is a person who openly brags on their website that they have, quote, a "pied-à-terre in the Andes." They also have a seemingly religious prohibition against proofreading any of their own work. So of course they think *every* writer needs to have staff.

Given those facts, obviously I can't argue with the flawlessness of the director's logic ... wait, yes I can. Though I admit an Andes pied-a-terre would be cool.
