I don't think it's fair to call it "neurosis." A 45 percent chance of Trump winning is really terrible. If I told you that you had a 45 percent chance of dysentary, you wouldn't be neurotic for worrying about it.
THAT isn't getting worked up about. If anything, this new approach has facilitated a late revisiting of democracy and January 6 which is a huge boon. My main concern is that Dems aren't prepared for whatever further fuckery Trump, Musk et al have in store.
