You're doing well, it's a great way to improve your second language. The advantage I have is having lived in Catalonia for 35 years! I consider myself to be virtually bilingual - plus I do some work translating myself (nothing on the scale of a novel) so enjoy seeing how books have been translated.

I just have a massive duolingo habit... and it's a good way to test how much you have learned... I managed a couple of short stories in french... and danish... but chinese was too difficult - even with the pages side by side... I tested my welsh on signs in Wales... and have started dutch now...
