I had a similar reaction to seeing Egyptian cat statuary at the Louvre. Not Bastet, but a mother cat nursing her kittens. It hit me like a hammer and brought tears to my eyes, feeling this connection to an artist thousands of years dead.
@ravennoafterhours.bsky.social and I were talking about wizard balls, and they were kind enough to draw up some looks for my Aluin. And now I want to draw a shopping montage!!
(I think -- though it would be a hard call -- Aluin would probably choose the bottom far left. It's fancy but also wizardy, totally his style. :D :D :D)
Uh. WOW. Ravenno sure is helpful!! WHAT A CLOSET. So many looks!! I love how they all have different vibes -- differing levels of skin showing, inspired by different periods. Aluin would have a blast trying these all on! THANK YOU FOR THIS, and all these brilliant ideas. :D
Ohhhh, this is tough because I like them both, especially the ombre on the red version. 🤔 The red is nice because it ties both of them together well, and it's a gorgeous color. But I like the lavender because it's Ravenno's color, and it contrasts well with the BG. Hmmmmmm--!
