A Final Survey by Viktor Peinemann shows a researcher surveying a reef flat in the central Red Sea, which faced bleaching due to record temperatures in 2023, leading to the death of the majority of shallow corals. Many central Red Sea reefs today are unrecognizable compared to a year ago.
