I was really disappointed that the remake didn't hew closer to the stage version and was instead a shot-for-shot but with cgi 😒 #HATM#LionKing

It also gave Timon and Pumbaa a community, which lessened the impact of their solo care-free philosophy. It also lessened their reaction to being turned about by their communities of origen in The Lion King 1 ½. #HATM
