Great! Yeah multiple people had trouble with the original font (which is one that comes with the Playdate SDK!) so I bit the bullet are recreated the HUD elements.
I still can't figure out how to actually get a gif onto this platform but assuming the below link works, how does this look? Made a little HUD element (top right) when using crank mode to try to make it clearer what's going on
