I personally think it’s gonna be a harder sell for governments to insist on a mask ban for security reasons, now that smartphones can still identify you (for security purposes) with your mask on. I have an iPhone that has FaceID and it’s critical that I can keep my mask on when paying with my phone.

Also, the AI used in traffic cameras (eg red light violations) have a terrible false positive rate (one time in court I counted over 40% false positives), I don’t buy that facial reco tech used by cities is •that• reliable anyway. So we should just all mask up and protect ourselves and others.
