Of course it's all about them. If they cared about their patients, they'd be masked. Old lady screaming at cloud: The underlying problem here is that abject selfishness is no longer punished as a vice, but extolled as a virtue. Everyone feels entitled (*ahem*) to always put themselves first.
The HCWs who said they were still masking were far and away the minority - but their reasons were almost always about the patient. - I don’t want to harm a patient - I don’t want the patient to have to ask - I don’t want the patient to feel uncomfortable - I know Covid is airborne /2
